Senior Trip to Orlando, Florida

April 22, 2016 | Anthony Everhart

On Friday April 15th, Crestview High School had a senior trip to Orlando, Florida. The trip  included around 170 people, including the chaperons. In order to attend the senior trip students must be a senior, have a 2.5 GPA, and have no outstanding school debts.

Aaron Ferguson, a senior student who attended, said that “There is little sleep but lots of fun. I would do it again in a second.” He recommends the freshman, sophomores, and juniors go on the trip when they are seniors. He also stated that students should “bring plenty of snacks, a blanket (the buses are chilly), and be prepared to get 5 hours of good sleep max.”

Another senior student, Chris Bush, stated “We went to Blizzard Beach for half a day and then went to Grad Bash at night from 6:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The next day we went to Islands of Adventure from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and then we came back to Crestview.” He also said that “Grad Bash was my favorite part of the trip even though it was exhausting. Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure was only open for seniors. Just being around other seniors and talking to people from different high schools was really fun.”
