ROTC presents Colors
Taking place on November 9th, Crestview High School ROTC visited the Crestview Rehabilitation Center. They visited the Center to support the retired veterans. ROTC color guard detail presented the colors.
On November 10th, the ROTC visited Davidson Middle School and again presented the colors. The ROTC cadets are equipped with a national flag and an organizational flag. National flag is called the “national colors” and the organizational flag is called the “organizational colors.” The term “colors” means flags, either or both the national colors and the organizational colors. They then begin to follow procedure for presenting the colors.
ROTC instructor, Mrs. Jo Durm, or Chief Durm, said “I just want them to be successful.” She takes pride in her students and encouraged her students and even hand picked some of them for the trips to present the colors.
