Pep Rally that left everyone amazed

November 2, 2016 | Zamiya Griffin

Friday, October 28th was the day of the biggest Football game of the year and a pep rally to pump us  students up. This was a game we didn’t want to lose because both Crestview High School and Niceville High School, fierce rivals, were undefeated, both 9-0.

This was our first inside pep rally so, of course, everyone wanted to get tickets. Unfortunately that wasn’t possible, so that left a lot of kids disappointed. According to student, Shayla Trotter, “It was too much trouble to get a ticket , so when I couldn’t go the Pep Rally I was really upset.”

When the students were released from 7th period they roared with excitement, all happy to get to the gym for the pep rally. Students dashed into the gym, eager to see what CHS had planned. CHS Dog Pound president Dejiah Spates started to hype the crowd up with the Go Banana’s Chant. Then Coach Martin began rapping, aka  “Spittin some Bars” as he would call it. He left everyone amazed. The cheerleader and the dancers also preformed an amazing routine that had everyone cheering .

Then, that left us with Drum line. The varsity football players started to chant “We want Drum Line” over and over until Drum line started playing . That’s what everyone was waiting for. Students ran out of the stands and got into the huddle with the drum line and the football players and went crazy.

All of the students left the pep rally excited for the game.
