MLK Oratorical and Poster Contest Winners

On January 7th the Martin Luther King Jr. Oratorical and Poster contest was announced. The contest is when participants draw a poster for Martin Luther King Jr. and public speaking. The contestants were assigned to make a poster with the theme of ”Hope for a Better Tomorrow”.

Many CHS students entered the contest. The first place winner was CHS student Jeremy Matthew and 2nd place went to CHS student Bailey Hall.

Matthews received a trophy, a monetary award, and the opportunity to present his work and give a speech at Beulah Baptist Church on January 15th. He was also asked to present his work in the Fort Walton Beach Martin Luther King Jr. Parade on January 16th.
