Helping Houston with Our Donations

September 22, 2017 | Noelani Parker Ramirez

On August 27th, a category four hurricane nicknamed “Hurricane Harvey” struck Houston, Texas. This devastating hurricane destroyed many homes and caused major flooding in the town. The storm ultimately took the lives of 70 people, and the surviving victims of Hurricane Harvey were left homeless and terrified, and the wreckage has stockpiled to a whopping $180 million cost to Houston.

Fortunately, many victims have received help from various Health Centers and donations have been put towards the damage, however many donations need to be made; and you can help too.

Crestview High School has been working to collect donations to support Harvey victims involved in the calamity. Students are highly encouraged to aid the victims of Hurricane Harvey by giving any supplies to Leadership or Bulldog Pack. They need supplies such as canned food, health products,  and any other items to help the cause.
