Tammy McKenzie is a well-known part of the Crestview High School staff and is now being recognized for her unending optimism and care towards hundreds of students by earning Teacher Of The Year.

Dr. McKenzie has been a teacher for over 20 years; never stopping the hard work and kind attitude toward any situation big or small. “It’s been an honor to work with amazing and bright students, I love my job.” said the Teacher Of The Year. She teaches Health Occupations, which expands a student’s job opportunities in the field of medicine and college to increase chances of getting a well-paid job and living successfully.

Each school year’s Teacher Of The Year is chosen by other teachers and faculty membersĀ at the school. The winning teacher gets a plaque and flowers, and a day off from school.
