The Cross Country team recently received a $1,200.oo donation from the Josh Sprinkle run.

Josh Sprinkle was a young 18-year-old; whom graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 2005. He was involved shortly after his graduation in a tragic car accident. This left him clinging to life, sadly, he died a week later. The Josh Sprinkle run was created by two of his friends, who were in cross country, to help pay the cost of his funeral. The run has been continued in his honor ever since.

This year’s Josh Sprinkle run was the tenth annual 5K memorial run. The run is sponsored by the Northwest Florida Track Club. The club donated money to each Cross Country team in Okaloosa County that participated.
