Crestview Students Share Tips On Keeping Grades Up

March 16, 2016 | Jazmyn Little

The 4th 9 weeks begins on March 28. It is also vital for students to keep their grades up for the rest of the year. Here are some tips from some Crestview High students.

“Study hard and do your homework, but don’t stress too hard.” Kayla Baggett (Grade 10)

“Relax. You’ve been doing this all year and it’s no different now. Continue what you’ve been doing all year and you’ll be set and pass the exams.” Jordyn Redman (Grade 11)

“Don’t stress over the little things.” Savannah Griffith (Grade 11)

“Okay, so what you do is you simply try hard and challenge yourself. Don’t stress out if you are doing badly in a class, just try harder. When it comes to tests, just separate your studying into easy to manage segments.” Court Barber (Grade 12)

Also, it is helpful to remember not to slack off and procrastinate heavily on any work you receive in your classes. It is important to make sure you get your homework out of the way before playing video games or surfing the web. Even if you are out sick or have personal problems going on, be sure you get the work you missed and try and go over the lessons you have missed.
