Crestview’s very own Cyber Patriot teams went to competition on Jan. 14th, this is the fourth year that Crestview has gone up to bat.

There are two teams in the competition: Platinum and Gold team. Platinum is the more experience team out of the two; Gold team is the “Rookie” team. The Platinum team consists of: Dakota Waters, Caleb Coffeild, Conner Ruldolf, Gavin Johnson, Cald Well. The Gold team consists of: Alex Jameson, Brianna “Rio” Davis, Jacob Mirical, Dustin Johnson.

Both teams placed in the top Twenty. The Platinum team placed 12th out of 36 teams and Gold team placed 4th out of the 36 teams.

On Saturday Feb. 4th the Gold team went to a Regional competition. “No team in Crestview has made it to compete in Regionals at the Gold tier,” Cyber Patriot sponsor Daniel Sligar said. The Regional competition is a six-hour competition for teams in the southeastern United States. The placement of the Gold team for Regionals is still yet to be determined as competition submissions are still being scored.
