CHS gets pumped for Homecoming

As the day for the much awaited Homecoming Game against Milton approached, the student body was getting its energy up. Decorations adorned the hallways; Greek columns and decorative pots, Rio’s jungle resided in the main hallway, birds with bright feathers and monkeys sat in the trees. Flags from different countries graced the hallways of Crestview High School. From September 30th to October 7th the students were dressing up to show support and school spirit for our football team.

Spirit Day
A sea of reds, whites, and blacks rushed through the halls of Crestview High for students had dressed to show their bulldog spirit on Friday, September 30th.

Career Ambition Day
Ranging from firefighters to beekeepers, CHS students dressed to show their future aspirations. Many students collaborated on their costumes, Andrew Acol and Chandra Andrade came dressed as a trophy husband and wife. Student spirits were up and excited for Homecoming Day on Monday, Oct. 3rd.

Throwback 90’s Day
Some students took a different take on Throwback 90’s Day on Tuesday. Two students April Gudinas and Hannah Smith dressed as dames from the 1790’s. Others kept to the usual dressing in denim and adorning puffy, wavy hair.

Class Color Day
Class Color Day was a day for CHS students to show their passion for their grade. Seniors were blue, Juniors were green, Sophmores were pink, and Freshman were yellow. The school hallways were a parade of homemade tutu’s ¬†and feather boas. Many wore bandannas and painted dots all over their faces. The student body are most definitely ready for the Homecoming game on Friday.
