Aniya Walker places 6th on Algebra nation

April 18, 2017 | Gavin Johnson

For the month of February, Aniya Walker was in the top six for Karma points for Math Nation in all of Florida.

Karma Pionts are  earned by  helping other students by directing them to videos that will answer their questions, explaining how to solve a math problem, or by showing students where they’ve made an error. Karma points are not rewarded for just giving the answers to other students, they have to learn from the experience.

Every year from September to April, math nation gives out an iPad each month to the student who earns the most Karma Points. The students who rank second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth in terms of Karma Points will each receive a Math Nation prize pack.
