JROTC Awards Night

JROTC  Awards Night will be held on Monday, May 16th at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium.  Please come out and support the cadets for a year of great accomplishments. Please contact Ms. Durm or 1SG Thomas if you have any questions.

HOSA Blood Drive

HOSA is hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross on Tuesday, May 10th from 2-7pm in the Multi Purpose Room. See any HOSA member or contact Dr. McKenzie to sign-up for a time to donate. Each pint of blood donated can save up to 3 lives!

“Emma! A Pop Musical”

The Theatre department will perform “Emma! A Pop Musical” on May 6 and 7 at 7 p.m. and May 8 at 3 p.m. Tickets will be $10.

Hall of Fame Nominations

Applications for nominations Crestview High School Hall of Fame are currently being accepted.  To be considered for induction, nominees must have graduated at least 10 years ago and have demonstrated outstanding leadership and athletic accomplishments.   All submissions must be accompanied by verifiable information.   It is always helpful to supply that information along with the nomination.  If possible, please supply contact information for nominee—not a requirement for nomination—just a request.    You may resubmit previous nominations for consideration.  Deadline to submit application will be Friday, June 3rd.   Applications can be turned into the front office of CHS, or emailed to Coach Hatten


Art Show

CHS will be hosting an Art Show Tuesday, May 17th at the Crestview Public Library Conference Room. Public viewing will be from 10:00am  to 5:00pm. The awards reception will be from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. The culinary arts department will be providing appetizers and the art department will provide punch for the reception.

Ranger Open House

The 2016 Ranger Open House, with the 6th Ranger Training Battalion, with be hosted at Camp James Rudder on May 6th. The event will show the citizens of Okaloosa County our US Army Rangers in action. There will be a parachute demo, a reptile exhibit, hand to hand combat, children’s activities, food vendors and much more. See the 2016 Ranger Open House Flyer for more information.

Cheerleading Car Wash

The Cheerleaders will be hosting a car wash Saturday, May 7th from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Ace Hardware. Donations accepted.



The 2016 Prom “Let’s Glow” will be Saturday, May 14th from 8:00pm to 11:00pm at the Destin Community Center.

Ticket sales will be Thursday, May 5th through Friday, May 13th during all lunches in front of the auditorium. Junior tickets are priced at $30 and senior tickets are priced at $15. Students must have their CHS student ID and their date’s CHS student ID to purchase tickets (including underclassmen). If a purchaser is bringing a date that is NOT a CHS student, a copy of their driver’s license is required. Non CHS attendees cannot be younger than 14 years or older than 20 years of age (per student handbook). Prom Court will be not charged for a ticket.

Students should refer to their handbook for descriptions of formal attire/dressed code.

Colorguard Auditions

Auditions for the Big Red Machine Colorguard will be May 16-19, 2016, from 3:00-5:30pm in the auditorium at Crestview High School. For more information see the Colorguard Audition Packet.

Red and White Game

The Red and White football game will be Friday, May 20th at 6:30 p.m. at CHS. Admission is $5.

Dance Team Tryouts

Dance team tryouts will be Friday, May 20th at 4:00 p.m. in the CHS gym. For more information see the Dance Team Tryout Packet.

ACT Math Tutoring

Mu Alpha Theta and Math Club are offering ACT Math Tutoring on Tuesdays, from 2:00 to 2:30 pm in room 370.


Tutoring for all subjects is offered on Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 6:20-6:50am and 2:20-3:20pm in the Media Center.

Dog Pound Spirit Night at Beef O’Bradys

Dog Pound Spirit Night at the Crestview Beef O’Bradys will be Wednesday, May 25th from 4:30pm to 8:00pm.  A portion of the sales of the night and all donations will help support Dog Pound so they can travel to away games during the season.


Spring Game

The Spring football game will be Thursday, May 26th at 7:00pm at Niceville.

Bulldog Cards

The football team is selling Bulldog Cards for $10 each. See any football player or coach to purchase. View the Bulldog Card here.


SAT Test

The next SAT test is Saturday, June 4th. The registration deadline is Thursday, May 5th. Late registration is accepted by mail through Friday, May 20th and by phone or online through Tuesday, May 25th.


Cheerleading Try Outs

Cheerleading tryouts will be on May 28th at 10:00 a.m. The Cheerleading Clinic will be May 26th and 27th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. All paperwork must be turned in no later than May 20th at 2:00 in the CHS front office.

US History EOC Tutoring

Tutoring for the US History EOC will be held after school in room 110 on Mondays and Wednesdays with Mr. Contri and Tuesdays and Thursdays with Ms. Nihill in room 101.


Baccalaureate will be held June 2nd at 6:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church.


Graduation will be Friday, June 3rd at 8:00 p.m. at Jack Foster Stadium.
